Sanctuary Tours at Wild Rescue

Step into the world of wildlife conservation with a special Sanctuary Tour at Wild Rescue Nature Reserve in Stilbaai.

Join the trained Wild Rescue staff for the Morning Rounds from 10:00–11:30 AM sharp, where you’ll have the opportunity to watch the feeding of the sanctuary’s 29 leopard tortoises and visit the resident vervet monkeys. Along the way, gain fascinating insights into the individual stories of the sanctuary’s residents and discover more about the incredible flora found throughout the reserve.

Your tour also includes free full-day access to the Nature Reserve, giving you plenty of time to explore the hiking trails and experience the remarkable diversity of the local fynbos. Don’t forget your camera — there will be plenty of beautiful moments and scenery to capture.

After your tour, pack a picnic basket and unwind in nature with lunch beside the dam or on the lush lawn.
