This is a handcrafted distillery, situated along the R305, about 6 km outside Stilbaai. They create uniquely South African spirits using fynbos botanicals from the Cape Floral Kingdom – the richest plant biome on the planet. Founded by Lorna Scott and her family, their heritage set the stage for the brand name – Inverroche. The Scottish word “Inver” meaning ‘a confluence of water’ and the French word “Roche” meaning ‘rock or stone’, two of the very elements that gave life to the surrounding fynbos.
Inverroche Distillery produces luxury brands with the highest quality in mind. The portfolio currently includes: The Fynbos Collection consisting of Gin Classic, Gin Verdant and Gin Amber, Limestone Rum Aged 10 years, Botanique Brandy Liqueur, Marmalade Gin Liqueur and CaféCoco Rum Liqueur.
Enjoy a tour of the intensive handcrafted processes which sees each bottle go through a minimum of 16 hands before leaving the property, or a tasting of their products. You can even make your own one-of-a-kind bottle while attending the Gin School.
