Xylo Coffee since 2018
XYLO Coffee’s journey began in 2018 when our family moved off-grid to live more sustainably. As we started doing everything from scratch, we also tried to roast our own coffee. What started of in a wok on a gas stove, soon changed to a hand turned drum over an open fire as friends and family asked for our uniquely roasted Homestead Blend coffee.
The name XYLO originates from the Greek word for wood. Wood fuels our distinctive roasting method, infusing our coffee with unparalleled flavor and authenticity. Using only wood from invasive trees on our farm, XYLO Coffee is truly sustainably roasted.
We serve our coffee at XYLO Coffee Albertinia and XYLO Coffee Stilbaai. Team XYLO is ready to bring you a taste experience.
