Snake Awareness & Handling Course
Join Wild Rescue on 31 October for an exciting and educational Snake Awareness, Venomous Snake Handling & Snakebite First Aid Course, presented by veteran herpetologist and FGASA field guide Heinrich Ninaber.
Whether you have a passion for reptiles, work with wildlife, or simply want to feel more confident and informed around snakes, this course offers valuable knowledge and practical experience.
What You Will Learn:
* How to accurately identify local snake species
* Modern, medically sound snakebite first aid – including the facts and dispelling common myths
* The theory of snake behaviour and essential safety protocols
* Practical, safe and hands-on venomous snake handling using professional equipment, for qualifying participants
Spaces are strictly limited to 18 participants to ensure a safe learning environment and meaningful one-on-one training.
Secure your place early, as spaces are limited. A 50% deposit must be paid by 17 October to confirm your booking.
