Women’s Shooting Day

Join us for an empowering and educational Women’s Shooting Day at the Stilbaai Shooting Club on 19 December 2026 — a unique event designed to equip women with valuable knowledge, practical self-defence skills, and hands-on shooting experience in a safe and supportive environment.
The day will begin with an informative talk by a guest speaker covering the legal aspects of firearm ownership and use, helping participants gain a better understanding of South Africa’s firearm laws and regulations.
Following the talk, attendees will take part in a dedicated Self-Defence for Women session, focusing on personal safety, awareness, and practical techniques that can be applied in everyday situations.
Participants will then rotate through six exciting shooting exercises. The first four activities will introduce a variety of shooting challenges and techniques, allowing women to build confidence and improve their firearm handling skills. The fifth exercise will focus on target shooting, while the sixth and final activity will be an obstacle course shooting exercise — combining movement, accuracy, and decision-making in a dynamic and engaging format.
To conclude the day, participants will have the exciting opportunity to take part in a clay target shooting exercise with a shotgun, where they will shoot at flying clay targets under the guidance of experienced instructors.
Whether you are a beginner or an experienced shooter, the Women’s Shooting Day promises a day of learning, confidence-building, and camaraderie. Come and enjoy an unforgettable experience with fellow women in the beautiful setting of Stilbaai.
