Still Bay, also known as the Bay of the Sleeping Beauty, is a charming seaside village which forms part of the famous Garden Route with its close neighbours Jongensfontein and Melkhoutfontein. It is situated along the banks of the Goukou River estuary where it meets the Indian Ocean on the Southern Cape coast of South Africa.

Myrtle, who has owned and run guest houses in Durban and Pinetown, KZN for the last 20 years has now opened a brand new Retreat in Still Bay, WC. The key to Myrtle’s success is that she is the perfect hostess, always concerned about the comfort of her guests. In its beautiful setting in Still Bay, Myrtle’s Retreat is a true paradise, designed in old Cape Dutch Architecture but with all modern conveniences, making life at Myrtle’s Retreat comfortable and luxurious
The rooms at Myrtle’s Retreat are large family sized rooms with private en-suite bathroom.

All rooms have separate entrance accessed by a remote controlled gate. All rooms have double beds and a personal in-room refrigerator.

All rooms include:
• All bedding and fresh linen.
• En-suite bathroom with personal shower.
• A private refrigerator in the room.
• OVHD Satellite TV with over 18 channels in the room.
• DStv (with your own decoder).
• Free WiFi Internet access at all times.

Myrtle’s Retreat has a large guest kitchen with all modern facilities and utensils, a large refrigerator and deep freeze for those who wish to prepare a meal themselves. The kitchen even has an indoor braai with smokeless chimney and plenty table space for dining.
